The Question of Triangle
Jose Saramago says, “Everyman has his own patch of earth to cultivate. What is important is that he digs deep.”
Suppose life is the area of an isosceles triangle, would you choose a triangle of depth, a triangle of width, or an equilateral one striving for both depth and width (and, in a way, neither)?

I was researching agents tonight and found Elise Capron who spoke so highly of your work in a Web del Sol interview. I looked you up and am so moved by the description of Firewife, by your “grandiose” list of favorite authors and most especially by the delights in your daughter’s life long noodles. It gives me a bit of heart and dirt and sky tonight, and I need it.
Thanks so much and I’m looking forward to getting your book!
